Amal before burial of the deceased

Recite the following Surahs:

Al Fatihah Ch.1	Yasin Ch 36	al Mulk Ch. 67 (40 Times)
As Safat Ch.37	al Ahzab Ch 33	al A'araf Ch. 7
(Ayat 154) a1 Baqarah Ch. 2	(3 or 7 Times) a1 Tauheed – Ikhlas Ch. 112	a1 Kafirun Ch. 109
a1 Fa1aq Ch. 113	an Nas Ch. 114

Tasbihat : Recite 100 times each of the following:

Subh' aanallaali wal h' amdu lillaahi wa laa ilaaha illallaahu wallaahu akbar
Allaahumma s'alli a'laa muh' ammadin wa aali muh' ammad
Astaghfirulaaha rabbee wa atoobu ila y
Amma y yujeebul muz"t' arra id' aada-a' a- u wa yakshifus sooo-a
Laa ilaaha illaa ant a subh'aanaka innee kuntu minaz'z'-aa- llmeen

Pray 80 rakats like Fajr salat is highly recommended, which every person can pray. It would be better if blood relatives pray.

If deceased was regular in praying Salat, but due to sickness in his/ her last days could not offer for few days, his/her Qaza Salat should be prayed before burial

Please recite fateha for the Murhumeen.
